About Us
Bright Beginnings Learning Center, Inc. (BBLC, Inc.) is a group childcare center licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC). For information regarding our program’s regulatory compliance history, you may contact the EEC at 617-471-2881.

To better support our families, we have several staff members who speak multiple languages, including Spanish, and are available to assist parents and guardians as needed. They can help explain our center’s policies, review the enrollment package, and answer any questions you may have.
Before Your Child Starts
You must make an appointment to visit the center with your child, fill out all required forms, and have a complete, up to date physical including updated immunizations. Pay the first week of tuition.
Things to Bring
Infant room checklist:
- 1 sleeve of diapers
- 1 package of wipes
- Bottles (Plastic only. No glass bottles, please!)
- Formula or breastmilk
-1 can of formula can be stored in the classroom
-Breastmilk bottles must be sent to school prepared (in bottles) - Spare clothes (3-4 full outfits is preferred)
- Bibs
- Pacifier (if used)
- Sleep sack (if used. Children cannot be swaddled. The child’s arms must be free to move around)
- Food- we are unable to prepare food so please be sure to send in the food as you would like it served (cut up, etc.) We have a refrigerator to keep bottles and food cold. If you prefer food to be warm, please send it in a thermos.
Toddler/ preschool room checklist:
- 1 sleeve of diapers (if used)
- 1 package of wipes
- Diaper cream (if used)
- 1 crib sized sheet for their cot and 1 blanket. (will be sent home on Friday’s to be washed for the following week). Children are not allowed to sleep with a sleepsac when they are using a cot.
- 2 sippy cups (1 for milk, 1 for water)
- Lunch box to keep their food in. We are unable to prepare food so please be sure to send in the food as you would like it served (cut up, etc. with an ice pack) If you prefer food to be warm, please send it in a thermos.
- Change of clothes (3-4 full outfits including socks)
- Shoes. All children in the toddler classrooms are required to wear shoes. Sneakers are best.
Please make sure you label all of your child’s items with their name. You can either do this directly on the item with a permanent marker or use a sticker/stamp.
Parent Participation
We have an open door policy for our families that we hope will encourage you to visit the center whenever you want. If you would like to share an activity or a family custom, please call or message to make the necessary arrangements. We also welcome all comments and suggestions. You can speak to the Director or one of the teachers directly. You may request an individual conference with your child’s teacher or the Director at any time.
